How to Make Fish Tacos

Ingredients

Breaded Fish
1 tray Wild OceanBox Icelandic Cod
1 cup flour
1/2 tbsp cumin
1/2 tbsp paprika
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp coriander
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
olive oil, avocado oil or coconut oil to fill 1/2 inch of the pan

For Slaw:
half a head of shredded cabbage (or one small bag)
2 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tbsp dijon mustard
salt and pepper to taste

  1. Heat oil to 350F over medium high heat.
  2. Add breaded fish and fry for 5-6 minutes on one side and 3-4 minutes on the other side.
  3. Mix shredded cabbage with mayo and mustard.
  4. Add more mustard for a tangier flavor; add more mayo for a creamier flavor.
  5. Heat corn or flour tortillas over medium heat.
  6. Layer fish with sliced avocado, slaw, sour cream, cheese, and hot sauce. 
  7. Serve and Enjoy

The fish is fresh & not frozen. Portions are as stated &cleaned & cut well. I gave gift cards as xmas presents. They were a big hit.

The fish doesn’t arrive frozen which is huge for me because when flash frozen it gives the fish a mushy texture when cooked.Also I love that when I open the tray of fish I can’t even smell a fish odor so I know it is truly fresh caught fish, plus the taste is amazing. I’ve been ordering 2 large boxes every month for 2 years now and will continue.

The seafood is fresh and vacuum packed, so can easily be frozen for later or used right away. The salmon and shrimp have been delicious! Next is the cod!
